Gardening 101 & Gardening 102

As above, so below! Plants and Spirituality! Nature and Health!

Gardening and caring for plants can improve all areas of your life and wellbeing…physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially. Spending time outside is good for our bodies and our minds. Research has shown gardening can help us: connect to others, connect to nature, connect to something greater than ourselves, help us be in the present moment, reduce stress and depression, improve mood, provide us with exercise and fresh air, and helps us reach higher states of consciousness through mindfulness. Care for yourself while caring for mother earth! Connect to the divine by connecting to nature! Read our new blog post about Plants and Spirituality by clicking here!

The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 is also teaching us the need to become more self-sufficient as stores and restaurants close and the food chain becomes interrupted. Growing your own food is a great way to start to become more empowered to take your family’s well-being and security into your own hands. NOW is the perfect time to plant a garden! Christina will offer additional gardening classes later in 2020 (late summer/fall) that will focus on harvesting plants, preparing for winter, seed saving, crop storage, preservation, and indoor gardening.
