Herbs and Herbal medicine are the foundation of natural health. Herbs have been used globally for thousands of years and were the first form of healthcare! The majority of the world still uses herbal medicine despite the invention of chemical pharmaceuticals. This herbal series will educate you and empower you to take your health and wellness back using mother nature’s pharmacy! Learn how to successfully design, grow, and cultivate your own herb garden. Learn how to make herbal preparations including teas, elixirs, ointments, infusions, tinctures, beverages, and food. Herbal delivery systems, bioavailability, natural remedies, and techniques for mental, emotional, and physical wellness, spiritual development, energy clearing, and metaphysical uses are also covered. The series also focuses on traditional uses, energetics, holistic healing, nutritional healing, clinical research, pharmacology, and safety. Christina is a member of the American Botanical Council, a member of the American Herbalist Guild, has completed the Wisconsin Master Gardener Training Program through the University of Wisconsin Extension, and is the Project Chair of the John Michael Kohler Arts Center Indoor Garden. She specializes in women’s wellness, holistic healing, and spiritual development. She has hundreds of hours of aromatherapy, herbs, gardening, plant medicine, entheogen, and horticultural education. She is highly qualified to take you on your herbal journey! Since group herb classes are held over the growing season (spring, summer, and fall), a focus will be placed on organic gardening, cultivating, and growing your own herbs. This series will also cover indoor gardening and houseplants. Have a garden year-round!

Testimonials:
- “Each class I find doors opening within me. This one was no disappointment! Seeing auras, making smudge bundles, creating mandalas; uncovering layers of self. It was emotional. As the classes are done now, I won’t look at this as over but as the beginning. Thank you ladies for a great a six months and to Christina for your vibrant authentic self.”–Jenn from Wisconsin
- “Thank You Christina for teaching such an enriching “Holistic Healing with Herbs” class! During the series of classes, in such a beautiful setting, I was learning and growing as a person at the same time. I really enjoyed the face to face class time. All the input from fellow classmates added to my education in all things herbal. The class was a comprehensive study of herbs and how and why they can be used in Holistic Healing. Not only that knowledge, but how to incorporate the safe and effective use of herbs in our business’s, professional and everyday lives. A highlight in each class was the hands-on part. Being able to actually do some of the things we were learning about in class was invaluable to me. Making herbal tinctures, smudge sticks, mandalas and so much more really enhanced the learning process and was such fun. Outside of class, homework activities brought the class to life. Growing the herbs, caring for them, helping them thrive and harvesting for their use was an exciting experience for this non-gardener. Wildcrafting and nature walks to identify herbs had me looking at the beauty of the nature that surrounds me in a whole new light. Thank you again sharing all your time and talents for the truly Holistic journey of healing with herbs!” —Donna B. RN, Illinois
- “Before taking this series I didn’t really know how herbs could be applied to daily life. Christina’s class went well and above my expectations and I learned so much about herbs. Christina is very knowledgeable in the subject and often offered information about other forms of healing that could be used with herbal medicine or in addition to herbal medicine. Christina was always available for questions outside of the classroom and made the classes fun and enjoyable. I now feel confident using herbs in my everyday life and helping others using herbs as well. I would highly recommend this course to anyone that is interested in herbalism.” —Trisha from Wisconsin
