Litha marks the first day of summer and is a time full of light and brightness. Litha, also known as Midsummer, the summer solstice, or St. John’s Eve, is the longest day of the year. It is a festival of fire and water. Join Christina Wilke-Burbach PhD for a Summer Solstice Ceremony and Celebration! Christina will give you a brief overview of the Summer Solstice/Litha and both ancient and modern ways to celebrate. We will make temporary Litha Altars. She will then facilitate a Summer Solstice ceremony and ritual (complete with some Solstice Manifestation Spellwork). We will end with a guided meditation/journey and a Solstice Tarot/Oracle Reading for everyone. Come celebrate the magick of the longest night of the year with like-minded magickal people!! Litha marks the first day of summer and is a time full of light and brightness. Litha, also known as Midsummer or the summer solstice or St. John’s Eve, is the longest day of the year. During Litha, the sun seems to stop in the sky, rising and setting in the same place for a few days in a row. In fact, the word solstice comes from the Latin solstitium, which means the “sun stands still.” Litha is all about abundance, celebrating the first half of the year, growing crops, and welcoming the first day of summer. Litha is a time of joy and celebration. It is the perfect time to look at all you have achieved in the first half of the year. Revel in the light and warmth that the sun offers because from this point on it will give way to the power of the moon. Your Summer Solstice tarot reading will review your first half of 2023, things that benefit you, things that need to come to an end, what real change needs to take place, sources of your vital energy to get you through this time, the light within you, what you are clearing and releasing that no longer serves you a purpose, what tools, skills, and gifts are there to aid you in your journey, and how you can move into the remaining 6 months of the year until the Winter Solstice.

The Solar Lunar Events and Readings are held ONLINE/ZOOM. For webconferencing, Dr. Christina uses Zoom. Zoom is free for you to use. After you register by paying the fee below, Christina emails you a link to join the group via web conferencing. You will need a webcam and speakers/or earphones for a webconference. You may also use a smartphone, laptop, or tablet. Join us from the safety and comfort of your own home. You do not need to be technology savvy. If you can turn on a computer and check your email, you can join us online. Its super simple…no advanced skills are needed. With your webcam turned on, you will be able to see, hear, interact, and join the discussion with Dr. Christina and the other participants in the online group. You may also choose to join us by phone instead of webcam/online. Christina will then give you a special phone number to call in for your appointment. There is also a chat feature, so you can chat/text the entire group or have a private conversation with another member. Space is limited so everyone has time to share and discuss.
